CORTIS is making a surprise appearance on ‘M Countdown.’

CORTIS (MARTIN, JAMES, JOOHUN, SEONGHYEON, and GEONHO) will perform the B-side track ‘JoyRide’ from their debut album on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ on the 5th. In addition, members MARTIN, JAMES, and SEONGHYEON will serve as special MCs. As this marks their very first hosting challenge, a great deal of attention is focused on their performance.

BIGHIT MUSIC stated, “We prepared this stage to repay the continued love shown toward our debut album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES.’ As this stage reflects the five members’ desire to express their gratitude to COER, we ask for your high expectations.”

‘JoyRide’ is a song in which all members participated in writing and composing, adding pop elements to the lyrical and catchy melodies characteristic of the Alternative rock genre. Each time the song has been performed on radio shows or at live venues, it has received an enthusiastic response. This will be its first appearance on a music show stage. Expectations are high that it will reveal a different charm from their powerful performance tracks ‘What You Want,’ ‘GO!,’ and ‘FaSHioN.’

Beginning with their appearance on ‘M Countdown,’ CORTIS is set to bring great enjoyment to fans through a wide range of activities. On the 12th (local time), they have been invited as headliners to the ‘NBA Crossover concert series’ held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. On the 13th, they will take the stage for the halftime show of the ‘2026 Ruffles® NBA All-Star Celebrity Game,’ held at the Kia Forum in California, USA. On the same day, the group’s first OST participation track ‘Mention Me’ will also be released.

Meanwhile, according to the latest charts released by U.S. music media outlet Billboard (dated February 7), CORTIS’s debut album ‘COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES’ ranked No. 13 on both the ‘Top Album Sales’ and ‘Top Current Album Sales’ charts, which track physical album sales in the United States. It also ranked No. 4 on the ‘World Albums’ chart, maintaining its position on the chart for 21 consecutive weeks.
