Group MEOVV (SOOIN, GAWON, ANNA, NARIN, ELLA) has lifted their very first music show trophy.

 

On the May 2nd week chart of Mnet’s ‘M Countdown,’ MEOVV’s pre-release track “HANDS UP” claimed the No.1 spot. “HANDS UP” is a Brazilian funk genre track that fuses fast, flashy rhythms with unique synth sounds. Upon release, its addictive melody and dazzling performance captured the attention of global fans.

 

This marks MEOVV’s  first music show win since debut. The members shared their thoughts through a video message. Narin said, “It’s our first music show win since debut, and I’m so happy it feels unreal.” Soo-in expressed, “We worked hard and had so much fun preparing this comeback. I’m really happy that so many people are showing love for this song.” Anna also added, “We’ll always continue to work hard and show you a better, newer side of MEOVV (미야오).”

 

Released on Monday, April 28, the pre-release track “HANDS UP” from MEOVV quickly hit No.1 on YouTube’s trending videos upon the music video’s release, drawing immense attention. Following their performance and music show stages, the song rebounded on major domestic music charts and continues to receive love from listeners. In particular, it entered Melon’s daily chart and the “TOP 100” chart, showing a clear upward trend.

 

MEOVV  is actively promoting “HANDS UP” and will release their debut EP ‘MY EYES OPEN VVIDE’ along with the title track “DROP TOP” on Monday the 12th.
