On May 10th, group OH MY GIRL made a comeback with the 8th Mini Album ‘Dear OHMYGIRL’.

 

On May 17th, Hanteo Chart, the world’s one-and-only real-time music chart, officially counted and announced that the Initial Chodong (first week of release) sales amount of OH MY GIRL’s 8th Mini Album ‘Dear OHMYGIRL’ has recorded over 69,000 copies. The Initial Chodong sales period of OH MY GIRL’s new release was from May 10th to May 16th.

 

According to Hanteo Chart’s Initial Chodong sales amount data, OH MY GIRL sold 53,325 copies on the 10th, 4,071 copies on the 11th, 4,077 copies on the 12th, 488 copies on the 13th, 504 copies on the 14th, 1,760 copies on the 15th, and 5,217 copies on the 16th. The total Initial Chodong sales amount of OH MY GIRL’s 8th Mini Album ‘Dear OHMYGIRL’ is 69,442 copies.

OH MY GIRL showed about 3 times growth with the 8th Mini Album compared to the 7th Mini Album ‘NONSTOP’ which was released in April last year. The group broke the ‘jinx of 7 years’ and recorded the highest Initial Chodong sales amount since the debut. OH MY GIRL also placed 9th among the girl group album released in the past 2 years.

 

The title track ‘DUN DUN DANCE’ is a Nu-Disco genre that highlights OH MY GIRL’s unique dance-pop style.
