[Hanteo News = Reporter KIM YEONWOO] K-POP artists who inspire audiences through their music and performances are also making a positive impact beyond the stage. CNBLUE's JUNG YONG HWA and IVE are giving back to society in their own ways, spreading warmth through meaningful acts of kindness.

JUNG YONG HWA attended an ambassador appointment ceremony for the inaugural Korea Young Carers Week, held at the Grand Ballroom of Yonsei University's Baekyangnuri in Seoul on October 29. Through the initiative, he has joined efforts to support young carers, children and young adults who take responsibility for caring for family members in need.

In particular, JUNG YONG HWA attracted attention by announcing his intention to donate his entire compensation from his ambassador activities to ChorogUsan for children.

"I've supported many people through my music, but it's especially meaningful to be able to offer practical help this time," he said. "I hope more people will become aware of young carers and that we can build a society that gives them the support and encouragement they need. I'll do my best as an ambassador."

Through his appointment, JUNG YONG HWA aims to raise public awareness of young carers and provide meaningful support to children and young adults who shoulder the responsibility of caring for their families.

IVE is also sharing a special message of appreciation with firefighters through the power of its voices.

On October 30, Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association announced that IVE had participated in a voice donation project for ‘Fire Hero Membership’, the National Fire Agency's official welfare platform for firefighters.

‘Fire Hero Membership’ is a dedicated welfare platform for firefighters and their families. IVE decided to participate in the project after resonating with its mission of offering encouragement to firefighters in their everyday lives. The group will contribute various voice recordings, ranging from messages wishing firefighters safety to greetings celebrating special occasions.

"It's meaningful for us to express our gratitude to firefighters who work tirelessly day and night to keep everyone safe," IVE shared. "We hope our voices can bring even a little encouragement to their day."

IVE previously made donations through Hope Bridge to support wildfire victims and improve firefighters' working conditions and public recognition. The group has also consistently participated in charitable activities, including donations for disaster recovery efforts in Korea and overseas, support for pediatric and adolescent patients, and public interest campaigns.

Meanwhile, JUNG YONG HWA continues to pursue an active career in both music and acting. He currently stars as Eom Tae-bong in the Lifetime weekend drama ‘밑도 끝도 없이, 너다’. As CNBLUE's main vocalist, he is also touring with the band's world tour ‘3LOGY’, which is set to conclude with encore performances in Macau on November 14 and 15, wrapping up an extensive journey across 20 cities worldwide.

CNBLUE will then hold its 2027 concert ‘에바뛰콘 - KEEP DREAMIN’, KEEP RUNNIN’’ at KSPO DOME in Seoul on February 20 and 21 next year. Anticipation is growing for the performances, which will mark the group's first appearance at KSPO DOME in its 17-year career.

IVE has also been actively promoting its recently released mini-album ‘Looks Can Kill’. The title track of the same name topped YouTube's worldwide trending music video chart and Melon's Global-K weekly chart. Challenge videos shared on the group's official social media accounts have also surpassed a combined 100 million views, demonstrating the song's popularity.

Continuing to deliver the message that anyone can become the protagonist and hero of their own life, IVE is also exploring new musical possibilities. On October 30 at 1 PM KST, the group released ‘Looks Can Kill (Alawn Remix (Feat. Tiger JK))’, a remix featuring global producer Alawn and Tiger JK.

Through charitable donations and contributions of their talents, JUNG YONG HWA and IVE are each making a positive difference in society. As artists who have received so much love from the public continue to share that love with others, attention is turning to the positive influence their actions may inspire.
