[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] KISS OF LIFE NATTY revealed that the choreography for the new song 'SWEAT' is the most difficult in the group’s history.

 

KISS OF LIFE met with Hanteo News at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the 29th and talked about their 3rd single 'SWEAT.' On this day, NATTY said, “Aside from the point choreography, it is so difficult that I would say it is the hardest choreography among all of our dances,” adding, “That is because we run without rest.”

 

The performance includes new attempts. JULIE explained, “I think the composition of performing together with cool female dancers will be a fun point,” adding, “We prepared it by carefully arranging moves that are easy enough for even people who cannot dance to see and follow gently, while also including difficult choreography that can show our skills when we perform among ourselves.” NATTY added, “If you watch the music video, we dance barefoot for the first time, and I think the scenes performed on sand will also be fun to watch.”

 

The barefoot performance was an idea suggested by KISS OF LIFE themselves. NATTY said, “When I heard 'SWEAT,' I imagined a scene of dancing on sand under a summer night sunset, so I suggested the idea. It was really fun that they accepted it and we were able to include it in the music video.” When asked whether they would also perform barefoot on stage, HANEUL drew laughter by saying, “If there is an opportunity to take them off, or if we win No. 1, I will take them off.” JULIE also added, “If we win No. 1, we will perform barefoot.”

 

The point choreography also catches the eye. BELLE said, “In the chorus choreography, there is a move that looks like wiping off sweat and splashing it, and I think it is a catchy point that everyone can follow,” introducing it by adding, “In the post-chorus, there is choreography where we hold our heads with both hands and shake our hips from side to side. It is very exciting and intuitive, so I think everyone will want to follow it.” HANEUL said, “If you go to the beach, I hope you play our song and dance this choreography.”

 

They also prepared styling that gives off a healthy beauty. HANEUL said, “In the teaser photos, the members’ abs are captured really well, and aside from those outfits, we have worked hard to prepare cool outfits that will let us show off our healthy beauty.” BELLE explained, “Because we do a lot of hip dancing and use our hips a lot, we are thinking of different ways to make the performance shine, such as adding tassel-like points around the hips or designing our nails to look like sweat in line with the choreography where we splash sweat.”

 

Each member also put effort into managing her body in her own way. NATTY said, “In the early days of our debut, I focused a lot on dieting, but these days I have been working out hard,” adding, “I am working hard from the inside for healthy beauty.” BELLE shared, “I am eating while properly filling the three major nutrients, including protein and carbohydrates, controlling the amount while eating what I want, and working hard on exercising and dance practice.” JULIE said, “Rather than competition among the members, I think the word stimulation is more accurate. Since this is a condition we prepared healthily and over the long term for a long period of time, we did not do it while feeling too stressed or pressured.”

 

As for an artist she would like to do the challenge with, BELLE said, “I really want to do it with EXO KAI sunbaenim, an artist who comes to mind when thinking of summer,” adding, “That is because I was a huge fan of EXO.” She continued, “I would also like to do it with SISTAR sunbaenim.”

 

KISS OF LIFE’s 3rd single 'SWEAT' will be released today at 6 PM through various music sites.
