RIIZE’s WONBIN has taken first place in the “Cat Day Special.” 👏👏👏

 

From August 5 to August 11, Whosfan held a vote under the theme “[WhosPICK] Cat Day Special🐱.”

 

In this vote, WONBIN took first place with 86.50% of the votes. He was followed by I’LLIT’s Iroha in second place (4.18%) and Taesan in third place (3.86%).

With his round, deep eyes and shiny black hair, RIIZE’s WONBIN is known for his nickname “Black Cat,” or “Kkamgo” in Korean. Though he may appear aloof, his gaze seems to hide a quirky side, which is one of his charming points.

 

In one piece of content, he chose and wore a hairpin shaped like cat ears and let out a “meow,” a moment that melted the hearts of many BRIIZE (fandom name).

It’s not just his looks, WONBIN also acts exactly like a cat! While waiting during a shoot, he suddenly rushed toward the camera, only to step back with an awkward smile, looking every bit like a cat.

 

A moment that became a hot topic was when he opened a fancy umbrella gifted by a fan as a photo-time prop and flinched repeatedly. Just like a timid, easily startled cat, right?

During a recent live broadcast with RIIZE members, WONBIN chose a screen filter of a cat playing with a fishing rod toy. When the members noticed and teased him, asking what he was doing, he cutely shot back, “Don’t you know? Don’t you know Binn-yang?”

 

“Binn-yang” is a combination of WONBIN’s “Bin” and the Korean word for cat, and it’s one of his nicknames.

Even SHOTARO once sent a video to the fan chat app of a cat he saw on the street, calling it WONBIN. That’s how much everyone sees him as a cat itself.
