The SM 30th Anniversary Commemorative Album '2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE' has surpassed 90,000 in initial chodong sales.

 

Hanteo Chart, the world's only real-time music chart, announced on the 21st the initial chodong sales of SMTOWN's '2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE.' The counting period was from February 14th to 20th.

 

According to the data, '2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE' recorded 61,459 copies on the first day, followed by 1,977 on the 15th, 3,875 on the 16th, 4,347 on the 17th, 6,898 on the 18th, 4,437 on the 19th, and finally, 7,757 on the last day, the 20th. This brings the total initial chodong sales of '2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE' to 99,750 copies.

'2025 SMTOWN: THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE' is an album released to commemorate SM's 30th anniversary, and it is the first group album presented about 2 years and 2 months after the release of '2022 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU PALACE' in December 2022.

 

The title track 'Thank You' is a modern & classic standard pop song that encapsulates gratitude for the unforgettable precious moments shared over 30 years, a miraculous belief in each other, and a story of everlasting love.

 

The new release includes a total of 17 tracks, such as NCT Wish's remake of Super Junior's 'Miracle', RISE's remake of TVXQ’s 'Hug', and aespa’s remake of f(x)'s 'Rum Pum Pum Pum,' reinterpreted in the unique styles of each group to match SM's historical hit songs.

 

Meanwhile, SM Entertainment will meet global fans at 'SMTOWN LIVE 2025 THE CULTURE, THE FUTURE in LONDON' in London on June 28th.
