[Hanteo News = Reporter KANG SUYOUNG] ENHYPEN’s SUNGHOON shared his first impression of the title track ‘Bloody Paradise.’

ENHYPEN held a press conference for the release of its 8th mini album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ at the Grand Ballroom of Mondrian Seoul Itaewon on the 20th. On this day, SUNGHOON described the new song as “like tteokbokki eaten at a restaurant.”

Recalling the moment he first heard the title track, SUNGHOON said, “I felt that it was different from the songs we had done so far,” adding, “When the remix version of the title track from our 7th mini album was released, I had already tried the Brazilian funk genre first in my version, and it was a genre I usually enjoyed listening to that much.” He continued, “Tteokbokki is a food you can easily eat around you and is also stimulating, and this song gave me the feeling of tteokbokki eaten at a restaurant.” JAKE added, “Except for SUNGHOON, it was a genre we were trying for the first time, so it is true that it felt different,” adding, “At the same time, I also thought we should take it as an opportunity to show an even newer side.”

Regarding the title track, SUNOO introduced it by saying, “It is a Brazilian funk dance track that carries the message that even while being chased dangerously, if the person you love is by your side, that place is paradise,” adding, “The melody is good and addictive, so please give it lots of interest and love.” SUNGHOON added, “When I first heard it, I thought it was a charming song with an intense bass and addictiveness.”

They also introduced the storyline unique to ENHYPEN’s albums. SUNGHOON said, “The previous album was about vampires beginning to flee with their lovers, and this album is about realizing that although there were many difficult moments during the escape, the fact that we are together itself is a blessing,” adding, “You will be able to feel a romance in which love for each other deepens even more amid crisis.” Regarding the performance points, SUNGHOON said, “The choreography is mainly composed of big movements, and its wildness and groovy mood are the key points,” adding, “The point choreography includes the move in the chorus where we grab our T-shirts and roll our hips, and the move in the ‘ya ya ya’ part where we sweep our hair back.”

ENHYPEN also pre-released this song on stage at its Busan concert on the 8th and 9th. Regarding the reaction at the venue at the time, JAKE said, “Even though it was a song that had not been released yet, I was very surprised to see so many ENGENE cheering for us and singing along,” adding, “I am happy that we were able to receive so much support and strength before the comeback and prepare for it.”

ENHYPEN, which debuted in 2020, has solidified its position as a “top global group” with a steep upward trajectory. At the 33rd Hanteo Music Awards 2025, the group won the Grand Prize in the performance category, proving its unrivaled stage power. With its 7th mini album ‘THE SIN : VANISH,’ released in January, ENHYPEN recorded initial chodong sales of 2,075,056 copies, achieving its fourth double million-seller in the team’s career, and also ranked No. 1 in both the Album and World categories on Hanteo Chart’s January monthly chart.

The 8th mini album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ is the second work in the ‘THE SIN’ series, which is motivated by sin, and is a concept album that deals with the end of the journey faced by lovers who break a taboo and choose to flee. The title track ‘Bloody Paradise’ is based on the Brazilian funk genre and captures a sense of liberation that blooms in a desperate situation.

ENHYPEN’s 8th mini album ‘THE SIN : BLISS’ will be released at 1 PM on the 21st. Attention is focused on what records ENHYPEN, which achieved a double million-seller with its previous work, will write with this album.
