Stray Kids member FELIX has been appointed as an honorary ambassador for the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Korea.

 

At an official press briefing held on the 5th, the Embassy of France in Korea announced, “We have appointed Stray Kids member FELIX and actress JUN JI HYUN as honorary ambassadors for the 140th anniversary of France–Korea diplomatic relations.” Regarding FELIX, the embassy explained the reason for the selection, stating, “As a member of Stray Kids, FELIX has demonstrated strong influence in the global music market and proven his popularity through large-scale performances across France, Europe, and many other parts of the world. With his individuality and international recognition, he is a figure who is expanding cultural connections between the younger generations of Korea and France.”

 

FELIX is expected to attend major cultural events commemorating the 140th anniversary of France–Korea diplomatic relations, helping widely promote its significance and expand points of connection with the public. Through his symbolic participation as an honorary ambassador, he is expected to share the meaning of the 140th anniversary with future generations while showcasing the vitality of human, artistic, and cultural exchanges. FELIX shared his thoughts, saying, “Various cultural and artistic events are scheduled to take place in Korea throughout this year, so I hope for your great interest and participation.”

 

The “global top artist” Stray Kids have proven the group’s popularity through remarkable activities not only around the world but also within France. In July 2023, they became the first K-POP artist to headline ‘Lollapalooza Paris’. They also attended the ‘Pièces Jaunes charity event’ hosted by the First Lady of France in 2024 and 2026. In particular, in July 2025, they held a solo concert as part of their world tour ‘<dominATE>’ at the massive stadium Stade de France, attracting 120,000 attendees, the largest audience ever recorded for a K-POP concert held in the country.

 

Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their sixth official fan meeting ‘Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING ‘STAY in Our Little House’’ at Inspire Arena in Incheon on March 28–29 and April 4–5, sharing their love with fans. On the final performance days of each week, March 29 and April 5, the concerts will be held offline while also being streamed simultaneously as a paid online live broadcast through Beyond LIVE.
