ENHYPEN is set to showcase the true nature of cold-blooded vampires through their new title track Knife.
On January 8, ENHYPEN (JUNGWON, HEESEUNG, JAY, JAKE, SUNGHOON, SUNOO, NI-KI) revealed the final chapter video for their 7th mini album THE SIN : VANISH via BELIFT LAB’s official SNS. Titled Knife, this chapter shares its name with the album’s title track and continues the vampire storyline that followed the accident-ridden escape depicted in the previous chapter, Stealer.
Though the pursuers are hot on their trail, the vampire lovers narrowly escape the blade of danger and sprint forward once again. ENHYPEN confronts their enemies with sharp fangs and claws, revealing their primal vampire instincts. Their intense charisma dominates the screen, while vivid cyberpunk visuals and dynamic direction amplify the tension of the chase, delivering a heightened sense of visual thrill.
The snippet of the title track Knife featured in the video is equally striking. With a hard-hitting trap beat and razor-sharp synth sounds, the track builds a chilling atmosphere, maintaining high tension throughout its two-minute-plus preview.
Knife is a hip-hop track that captures the fearless confidence of vampire lovers who won’t back down in the face of danger. ENHYPEN’s bold and powerful energy is fully embedded in the song. Gaeko of Dynamic Duo participated in writing the lyrics, creating an exceptional synergy with the members.
Starting with No Way Back (released on December 22), followed by Big Girls Don’t Cry, Stealer, and now Knife, ENHYPEN has unveiled a total of four chapter videos. Each video delves into the emotional landscape of the runaway vampires, offering fans a glimpse into the overarching narrative of the new album. The organically connected chapters point to an epic story, raising global anticipation to its peak.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will make their comeback with their 7th mini album THE SIN : VANISH on January 16 at 2 PM (KST). The album marks the beginning of a new series titled THE SIN, which explores the story of lovers who break societal taboos in a world where humans and vampires coexist and attempt to escape together. As a concept album with meticulously crafted tracks, lyrics, and sound, it promises to deliver an even deeper level of immersion.
