LE SSERAFIM became the first K-pop girl group to perform live at the broadcast site of New Year’s Rockin’ Eve. Performing at the biggest New Year’s celebration in the U.S., watched by the entire world, the group showed off the dignity of a true “4th-generation girl group powerhouse.”
On December 31, local time, Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026 (hereafter New Year’s Rockin’ Eve) took place in Times Square, New York. LE SSERAFIM (KIM CHAEWON, SAKURA, HUH YUNJIN, KAZUHA, HONG EUNCHAE) became the first K-pop girl group to perform live on-site at New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, continuing to exert their global influence until the very last day of 2025.
To welcome the Year of the Red Horse, LE SSERAFIM added intensity to their presence with red-accented outfits. Amid roaring cheers from the audience, they performed SPAGHETTI (Member ver.), the title track from their debut single album, and CRAZY, the title track of their 4th mini album. The addictive nature of the songs had the crowd swaying along, fully immersed in the performance. With expressive facial acting and commanding stage presence, the five members took full control of the atmosphere. CRAZY had previously gone viral as a fan-chant anthem during their first world tour, 2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’. As soon as the intro began, a wave of cheers and chants erupted from the crowd. The stunning dance break left a strong impression on global viewers.
In an interview with host Ryan Seacrest, the members shared, “It feels like a dream to welcome the New Year with the members here in New York. Thank you so much to everyone who came and to all the viewers watching. Most of all, we want to say thank you to FEARNOT (fandom name). It’s an honor to be on this stage.”
That day, the official Times Square social media account posted a photo from the performance along with the caption: “A ‘Perfect Night’ with LE SSERAFIM.” Perfect Night is a track released by LE SSERAFIM in 2023.
Having closed the year in spectacular fashion, anticipation for LE SSERAFIM’s activities in 2026 is rising. They will hold encore concerts for their world tour on January 31 and February 1 at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. Both dates sold out completely, and even the additional limited-view seats were sold out within 10 minutes, proving their immense popularity.
