TWS has achieved a remarkable milestone, becoming a half-million seller within just one day of their new album release.

According to Hanteo Chart on October 14, TWS' fourth mini album ‘play hard’ sold 517,941 copies on its first day (October 13), topping the daily album sales chart. This marks the group’s highest first-day sales to date, and impressively, TWS has now surpassed 500,000 cumulative sales for all five of their releases since debut.

The group is also seeing strong digital performance both domestically and globally. The title track “OVERDRIVE” debuted at No. 2 on Bugs’ real-time chart, while multiple tracks from the album, including “Head Shoulders Knees Toes,” “HOT BLUE SHOES,” “Caffeine Rush,” “overthinking,” and “Here For You”, entered the Melon ‘HOT 100’ (as of the 13th). In Japan, “OVERDRIVE” reached No. 10 on the LINE MUSIC real-time ‘Top 100 Songs’ chart (as of 2 a.m. on the 14th), signaling TWS’s growing international presence.

The “OVERDRIVE” music video has also captured fans’ hearts with its refreshing energy and youthful charm. Viewers have praised the group’s evolving sound and visuals, leaving comments such as “A hidden gem of K-pop that keeps reinventing the ‘refreshing’ concept,” “This MV is both heart-fluttering and exhilarating,” and “An intelligently crafted title track that balances trendiness with TWS’s signature bright sound.”

Lyrically, “OVERDRIVE” portrays the rush of falling in love, expressing TWS’s overflowing emotions and passion in their own vivid, animated way. The signature choreography, a playful shoulder-shaking move paired with expressive facial gestures, has already gone viral among fans.

TWS will kick off their music show promotions on October 16 with Mnet’s “M Countdown,” followed by a series of radio appearances to showcase their solid live performance skills. Their upcoming schedule includes KBS Cool FM’s “Haha’s Super Radio” (Oct 14), “Lee Eunji’s Gayo Plaza” (Oct 15), SBS Power FM’s “Wendy’s Young Street” (Oct 17), and “Park Sohyun’s Love Game” (Oct 19).
