Group DREAMCATCHER is expressing its acceptance speech at the ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022’ held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the afternoon of February 11th.

Artists who were active in the global market in 2022 were honored with the Hanteo Music Awards' first Global Artist Award.

 

BTS, MONSTA X, BLACKPINK, THE BOYZ, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, DREAMCATCHER, BTS Jin, SF9, Stray Kids, and TEMPEST won the Global Artist Award at the ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022’ held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on February 11th.

 

The Global Artist Award is awarded to artists who have been loved by fans from all over the world, and has been divided into all continents, North America, South America, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and Europe. In addition, it was divided into China by voting through ‘Idol Champ China’ and Japan by voting through ‘Mnet Japan’ to select the Global Artist Award and the Global Rising Artist.

 

BTS won the All Continents category, TOMORROW X TOGETHER won the Asia category, and BTS Jin won the Africa category. It was followed by THE BOYZ in the European category, MONSTA X in Oceania, BLACKPINK in South America, and DREAMCATCHERin North America.

 

While accepting their award, DREAMCATCHER said, "Congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Hanteo Chart”, and added, "We will always work hard on the stage and become a singer who gives you great strength."

 

BTS, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, THE BOYZ, MONSTA X, and BLACKPINK were unable to participate in the awards ceremony due to their schedule.

 

 

Group TEMPEST is expressing its acceptance speech at the ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022’ held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the afternoon of February 11th.

 

SF9 won the Global Artist Award, which was selected by voting through ‘Idol Champ China’, and TEMPEST won the Global Rising Artist Award.

 

TEMPEST said, "We think it's an award given by iE (fandom name), and we will always be a singer who can repay you."

 

 

Group SF9 is expressing its acceptance speech at the ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022’ held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Seoul on the afternoon of February 11th.

SF9 said, "Thank you so much for our fantasy (fandom name) that SF9 loves so much. We will share this award with In Seong, Young-bin, and Seok-woo and Chan-hee, who were in the military, with joy”. 

 

The Global Artist Award, selected through a vote at Mnet Japan, was won by Stray Kids and the Global Rising Artist Award by TEMPEST, following China.

TEMPEST said, "It's a situation that we have never imagined, so my heart is still pounding and it's like a dream. We will try to become a person who knows how to pay for this trophy," and then expressed their feelings in Japanese.

 

The ‘30th Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2022' is the first offline awards ceremony to mark the 30th anniversary of the Hanteo Chart and will be held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on February 10th and 11th. It will be broadcast live exclusively through SBS M for domestic broadcasts, Mnet Japan and Mnet Smart+ for overseas Japan, and Idol Plus for all overseas regions except domestic mobile and Japan.
