BOYNEXTDOOR has entered the U.S. Billboard 200 for the fifth consecutive time.

 

On November 4 (local time), American music media outlet Billboard announced via its official SNS that BOYNEXTDOOR (SUNGHO, RIWOO, MYUNG JAEHYUN, TAESAN, LEEHAN, and WOONHAK)’s fifth mini album ‘The Action’ ranked No. 40 on the main album chart ‘Billboard 200’ (dated November 8), a 22-spot jump from their previous release ‘No Genre’ (No. 62).

 

With this, BOYNEXTDOOR has now achieved five consecutive entries on the Billboard 200, following their previous records with ‘WHY..’ (No. 162), ‘HOW?’ (No. 93), ‘19.99’ (No. 40), and ‘No Genre’ (No. 62). This makes them the only K-pop group from their debut period to accomplish such a feat, highlighting their soaring global popularity.

 

Their latest album ‘The Action’ continues its strong performance across global charts. According to Hanteo Chart, the album sold 1,041,802 copies in its first week (initial sales period: October 20–26), marking BOYNEXTDOOR’s third consecutive million-seller. The album also topped the latest weekly charts from Hanteo Chart and Circle Chart, and ranked No. 1 on Apple Music Korea’s ‘Top Albums’ from October 21 to 27.

 

In Japan, ‘The Action’ secured No. 2 on both Billboard Japan’s ‘Top Album Sales’ (October 20–26) and Oricon’s ‘Weekly Album Ranking’ and ‘Weekly Combined Album Ranking’, demonstrating the group’s growing influence in the Japanese market.

 

The title track ‘Hollywood Action’ also reached a new career high for the group, debuting at No. 36 on Melon’s Daily Chart and No. 21 on its Weekly Chart, later climbing to No. 19 (October 27–November 2). In addition, the song ranked No. 6 on Japan’s Line Music ‘Weekly Song Top 100’ (October 22–28) and maintained a strong presence on China’s QQ Music ‘New Song Chart’ from October 21 to November 3, solidifying BOYNEXTDOOR’s global appeal.

 

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will perform on Day 1 of the ‘2025 MAMA AWARDS’ at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong’s largest concert venue, on November 28–29. They are also scheduled to appear on December 27, the opening day of ‘COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25/26’, Japan’s biggest year-end music festival, held at Makuhari Messe in Tokyo.
