TWS introduced their new title track 'COUNTDOWN!' as a "perfectly structured song with a clear progression."

 

TWS (Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, Kyungmin) member Jihoon shared this during the showcase held on the 21st to celebrate the release of their 3rd mini album ‘TRY WITH US’.

 

He said, "This title track is a song with a perfect narrative structure," and added, "We’re grateful that so many people have said, 'TWS’s refreshing sound is always a guarantee.' We’ve included that youthfulness once again in this track."

 

Hanjin continued, "The moment I first heard the song, I immediately thought, 'This is our song,'" and added, "It’s catchy, so I think a lot of people will be able to sing along."

 

Kyungmin also responded to a question about the long title by saying, "Even our debut song had 12 characters." He explained, "We didn’t intend for it to be long, but as we worked to capture our signature bright and overwhelming emotions, it naturally turned out that way."

 

‘TRY WITH US’ tells the story of 20-year-olds joyfully and bravely taking on things they’ve never done before. The agency, PLEDIS Entertainment, stated, "This 3rd mini album captures the journey of boys who once struggled with ‘first meetings’ as they grow into more confident and courageous youth," adding, "You’ll be able to feel the charm of TWS’s signature genre, Boyhood Pop, even more deeply."

 

Through the title track 'COUNTDOWN!', the group sings about embracing heart-racing moments without hesitation and running toward their dreams. Though it's a ‘hymn of youth at twenty,’ the song resonates with all generations. Lyrics like “Breath getting rougher / Heart keeps racing / Let’s follow what we want to do and shout it out” evoke the shining and perhaps reckless spirit of youth that lives inside us all.

 

Meanwhile, TWS is set to release their 3rd mini album ‘TRY WITH US’ at 6 PM today and will continue with their promotions.
