The second round of voting for the 'WhosFandom Award' for the '32nd Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2024 (HMA 2024)' has begun.

 

The organizers of 'HMA 2024' announced on the 9th, "Starting from noon today, voting for the TOP16 of the 'Who's Fandom Award' begins on the global fandom platform 'WhosFan'."

 

The 'WhosFandom Award' is a prize awarded to the male and female artists who have shone brilliantly throughout the year 2024, and their supporting fandoms. It is the only award in Korea that honors both artists and their fandoms together, and since the winners are determined entirely by fan votes, it holds deep significance.

 

Following the first round of voting, the top 16 teams from both male and female categories have been selected, and starting from noon today, the teams that will move on to the quarterfinals tournament will be decided.

 

The voting for the 'WhosFandom Award' TOP16 is organized into four groups with four teams each, proceeding in a round-robin league. The two teams in each group that earn the most points will advance to the quarterfinals tournament.

 

Currently, the TOP16 in the male category includes:
Group A: BTS (A.R.M.Y), ENHYPEN (ENGENE), BOYNEXTDOOR (ONEDOOR), SEVENTEEN (CARAT)
Group B: Lim Young-woong (HERO GENERATION), TREASURE (TREASURE MAKER), THE BOYZ (THE B), NCT (NCTzen)
Group C: TOMORROW X TOGETHER (MOA), ATEEZ (ATINY), ZEROBASEONE (ZEROSE), STRAY KIDS (STAY)
Group D: PLAVE (PLLI), RIIZE (BRIIZE), EXO (EXO-L), P1Harmony (P1ece)

 

In the female category, the TOP16 includes:
Group A: ITZY (MIDZY), STAYC (SWITH), tripleS (WAV), (G)I-DLE (NEVERLABD)
Group B: OH MY GIRL (MIRACLE), ARTMS (OURII), LE SSERAFIM (FEARNOT), Loossemble (C.Loo)
Group C: VIVIZ (Na.V), aespa (MY), TWICE (ONCE), BABYMONSTER (MONSTIEZ)
Group D: Soojin (SEOTANG), NewJeans (Bunnies), IU (UAENA), Kep1er (Kep1lian)

Each of the 16 teams selected through the TOP16 vote will advance to the tournament, and the quarterfinals will see matchups such as 'Group A 1st place/Group D 2nd place', 'Group B 1st place/Group C 2nd place', 'Group C 1st place/Group B 2nd place', and 'Group D 1st place/Group A 2nd place'.

 

Voting for the TOP16 started at noon today on the global fandom platform 'WhosFan', and more details about the voting method and schedule can be found on the official Hanteo Music Awards Twitter account and the 'WhosFan' app.

 

Meanwhile, the '32nd Anniversary Hanteo Music Awards 2024' will be held on February 15th and 16th, 2025, at the Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul. This year's '32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024' is celebrated as the 'Global K-Pop Big Data Awards Ceremony', expected to be the most fair and objective K-Pop awards ceremony.
