Group EXO's EXO-SC (Sehun & Chanyeol) has set a new Initial Chodong (first week of release) record on the first day of release.
On July 14th, Hanteo Chart, the world's one-and-only real-time chart, has officially counted and announced that EXO-SC's 1st Studio album '1 Billion Views' has recorded the daily sales of 269,001 copies on the 13th, the first day of its release.
The record surpasses the Initial Chodong sales amount of 'What a life,' the 1st Mini Album released last year. Sehun & Chanyelo demonstrated a stronger synergy effect throguh this studio album.
The title track of the same name with the album, '1 Billion Views' is a hip-hop track with funky guitar sound and disco rhythm. The lyrics compare wanting to see the other person with 'repeating the video' and uses familar words of the era such as '4K' and 'HQ video,' adding the fun to the song.
The public is paying attention on whether Sehun&Chanyeol can reach half-million record and what kind of record they will set during the Initial Chodong period, given the amazing start of breaking the previous record on the first day.
