Group SEVENTEEN became an official 'million seller' with receiving the 'Million Initial Chodong sales certificate' from Hanteo Chart.
On July 7th, SEVENTEEN via video has shared their thoughts on receiving the official certificate and thanked the fans.
SEVENTEEN surpassed the cumulative sales of 1 million copies on the 5th day of the release of 7th Mini Album 'Heng:garæ,' which was released on June 22nd. The record made SEVENTEEN the second artist to reach a 'million' in the Initial Chodong sales amount. The official Initial Chodong saels amount announced by Hanteo Chart 1,097,891 copies, and SEVENTEEN has ranked their name in the 3rd place in Initial Chodong sales record in K-pop history.
In the video released today, members were surprised to the news that 'Heng:garæ' reached a million copies in Initial Chodong sales record and said, "It's a meaningful number to SEVENTEEN, so we're touched and thankful."
Member Woozi also shared his joy, "It was an unbelievable news that we became a million-seller,' and S.Coups also said, "The numbers aren't necessarily important, but I'm happy that CARAT and SEVENTEEN together can leave such a great record."
Joshua thanked the fans in English, "Thank you for your love and support," and Jun said in Chinese, "We got this result thanks to CARATs. Us SEVENTEEN will try harder from now on," thanking the global fans as well.
