On March 10th, the YouTube channel ‘WhosfanTV’, operated by ‘Whosfan,’ a community platform for K-Pop fans all around the world, released the video of Hanteo Chart’s 1st week of March Physical Album Chart TOP 10.
WhosfanTV’s official MC, the newscaster Jo Seo Yeon, reported that BTS's 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7' recorded the album sales of 206,421 copies and placed 1st for 3 weeks in a row on Hanteo Chart's Weekly Physical Album Chart. Also, she reported that 'MAP OF THE SOUL : 7' recorded the total album sales of 3,624,536 copies as of the 8th based on Hanteo Chart's data. In the video, Jo Seo Yeon newscaster showed her surprise toward the Initial Chodong (first week of release) sales amount of 3,378,633 copies and additional sales of 300,000 copies after that, the record that BTS and ARMY set together.
She also watched the official music video of 'Kick It,' the title track of NCT 127's 2nd Studio album which ranked 2nd in the Weekly Physical Album Chart. Recording the album sales of 194,472 copies, 'NCT #127 Neo Zone' recorded the album sales of 184,791 copies in the first day of the release and broke the group's previous Initial Chodong record.
Following the albums by BTS and NCT 127, the higher ranks of the Weekly Physical Chart of the 1st week of March were taken by ‘TREASURE EP.FIN : Action To Answer’ by ATEEZ, ‘YOOK O'Clock’ by Yook Sung Jae, 'BLOOM*IZ' by IZ*ONE, and more.
