Group ATEEZ has announced a successful comeback by breaking the group's previous Initial Chodong (first week of sales) amount as soon as the album's release.
Hanteo Chart, the world's one-and-only real-time chart, officially counted and announced that ATEEZ's 5th Mini Album 'ZERO : FEVER part. 1' has recorded the cumulative album sales amount of 112,895 copies on the first day of release (as of July 29th, 6:30 PM).
With the result, ATEEZ has demonstrated a growth rate of approximately 179% by surpassing 62,833 copies, the Initial Chodong sales record set by the 4th Mini Album, 'TREASURE EPILOGUE : Action To Answer.' ATEEZ has announced that they will bring a new wind to the K-pop scene this summer with the new record set in an amazingly short period of time.
Also, as ATEEZ has proved their position as a global group by taking the 1st place in Hanteo Chart's Monthly Global Authentication Chart with the previous albums including 'TREASURE EPILOGUE : Action To Answer,' there is much anticipation around the record they will set in the Global Authentication Chart with the latest release. Especially, the Global Authentication Chart is much more meaningful as it is built by the fans' authentication all over the world.
ATEEZ's latest release, 'ZERO : FEVER part.1' starts the new story going back before the 'TREASURE' series, which was the series ATEEZ had demonstrated since their debut. The title track 'INCEPTION,' the title track that fans voted themselves through the special promotion to vote for the promotional track, is an urban-style track based on EDM, and the lyrics sing of 'the longing for the being in the dream within a dream.'
